Unlike traditional lock washers that rely on friction to prevent backing-off, the wedge-lock system works on the cam-wedge principle. The system consists of a pair of washers with cams on one side and radial teeth on the opposite side. The cam angle (α) of the washer is designed to be larger than the thread pitch angle (β) of the bolt. When the fastener is tightened, the radial teeth grip the mating surfaces, locking the washers in place. Any attempt by the bolt to loosen results in a cam-to-cam expansion, increasing the tension force and ensuring that the joint remains tight.

Our design features precise taper fits and high-grade spring steels that absorb high-frequency rotational harmonics, preventing tool slippage and workpiece defects.
