VDI is a quick-change tooling system designed for rapid tool setups on lathe turrets. Featuring a cam-operated clamping system, it allows tool changes to be performed in seconds, with the added benefit of presetting tools beforehand.
Our VDI toolholders are formed with reference to the DIN 69880 standard and conform strictly to ISO 9001/2000 specifications to ensure precision and reliability.
They are manufactured using high-quality, hardened steel (20MnTi), providing high durability and the capacity to withstand the rigorous demands of industrial metalworking.
We offer all standard metric VDI shank sizes, including 20mm, 30mm, 40mm, 50mm, and 60mm. The primary shank types available are VDI20, VDI30, VDI40, and VDI50.
These toolholders are suitable for a wide range of machines, including conventional lathes, CNC turning lathes, horizontal lathes, vertical lathes, turning machines, and CNC turning centers.
