Ricon Tools
Key information: Confirm the VDI interface specifications of the machine tool turret (such as VDI 30, VDI 40), which can be obtained through the machine tool manual or by measuring the diameter of the turret positioning hole (VDI 30 corresponds to Φ30mm, VDI 40 corresponds to Φ40mm).
Material type:
- Processing steel/cast iron: Select alloy steel tool holder (SCM440), which has high hardness and strong shock resistance.
- Processing aluminum/copper: Optional lightweight tool holder (aluminum alloy base) to reduce spindle load.
Speed range:
- <6000 RPM: Standard steel bearing tool holder.
- ≥8000 RPM: Ceramic hybrid bearing tool holder is required (such as STDIER high-speed model).
| Differences in VDI power toolholder interfaces | ||
|---|---|---|
| VDI 30: Suitable for small and medium-sized machine tools, often used for light cutting and small workpiece processing. | VDI 40: Suitable for medium-sized machine tools, can withstand large cutting forces, suitable for a variety of processing applications. | VDI 50/60: Suitable for large machine tools, can handle heavy cutting and large workpieces, and provide higher stability. |
| Tool holder size | Drive mode | Locking method |
|
1. Tool holder diameter: Different interface types correspond to different tool holder diameters, which affect the selection of tools and cutting capabilities. 2. Tool holder length: Tool holders of different lengths are suitable for different processing environments and workpiece shapes. |
1. Electric drive: Some tool holders are electrically driven, suitable for efficient cutting and precision machining. 2. Pneumatic drive: Pneumatic tool holders are usually used for fast tool switching, suitable for high-frequency production environments. |
1. Mechanical locking: Lock the tool through a mechanical device to ensure stability and safety. 2. Hydraulic locking: Use the hydraulic system to lock the tool, providing stronger clamping force, suitable for heavy cutting. |
In order to ensure the safety of transportation, the product is wrapped with sponge inside and packed with cartons outside, and finally shipped in wooden boxes.
